Use our Identity Access Management system to request certain accounts and access to certain University systems. You can request a Cardbox account, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) account, a service account, or a sponsored account using our system. Use these guides to request the account or access you need.
Request a CardBox account through the Identity Access Management portal to store and share files securely. This process is for university students, faculty and staff who need access to CardBox for academic or business purposes.
Request a Virtual Private Network (VPN) account through the Identity Access Management portal to securely access university resources from off campus. Employees automatically receive VPN1 accounts. Students and employees needing specialized access can request additional VPN accounts as needed.
Request a service account through the Identity Access Management portal if you need a shared account for departmental or group use. Service accounts are for university business and do not have access to CardBox, Virtual Private Network (VPN) or other resources by default.
Request a sponsored account for individuals who are not university employees but need access for academic or business purposes. Sponsored accounts are for visiting academics, temporary instructors or third parties working with university departments. Only authorized staff can request these accounts through the self-service portal.
Request Blackboard access for sponsored users who are not university students or employees. Only the account owner (the university employee managing the sponsored user) can request Blackboard access through the Identity Access Management portal.
