Administrative and Business

Services that support the administrative and business functions of the university as an institution. Our management includes business capability and process automation, financial and procurement systems, human resource systems, library systems and student information systems.

Communication and Collaboration

A wide variety of services that facilitate institutional communication and collaboration needs. Includes telephones and conferencing, Outlook email and calendaring, Teams collaboration services, media (digital screens) and audio/visual, and web services.

Desktop and Mobile Devices

Support for university-owned end-point devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related peripherals that are not printing-related. Devices as part of a service-level agreement (SLA) for Desktop Support, institutionally owned loaner equipment, shared pool or unit computing environment. Includes hardware lifecycle and recycling, resource planning, and active directory management.

Networks, Storage and Servers

Foundational services that support the operation and management of UofL's enterprise technology environments - including data center services, database management and server and storage management. Our network and connectivity management covers both wireless (Wi-Fi) and wired (Ethernet) services, virtual private network (VPN) and IP address support.

Research Computing

Supporting the University of Louisville's research community by providing access to cutting-edge computing and storage infrastructure, expert consultation and comprehensive training. Includes robust, reliable, scalable, and high-performance computing, storage systems and applications, research data services and software, and lab management systems.

Information Security

Services that provide security, data integrity, and compliance for institutional technology activities. Includes identity and access management, network and system security, security consulting and training, incident response and investigation and security compliance.

IT Professional Services

People-based services that support the management of One IT for UofL community. Comprises consulting services not identified in other categories. Includes enterprise architecture, continuous improvement and innovation, digital accessibility, IT communication and documentation, IT service delivery and support, portfolio project management and outreach.

Teaching and Learning

Services providing technology and resources directly supporting teaching and learning and environments for academic pursuits. Includes learning management systems, classroom support, AV integration services, assessment and learning analytics, lecture capture, and O365 survey tools.
