Security Policy and Compliance

Copyright law protects original works of authorship, including text, images, music and software. UofL faculty, staff, and students must follow university policies and federal law when using, sharing or creating copyrighted materials.

UofL blocks access to certain web pages to protect the university network and comply with security policies. If you encounter a “Web Page Blocked Per University Policy” message, it means the site is restricted due to security, compliance or risk concerns.
