Security Incident Response

Support for all security incidents - defined as an adverse or malicious event in a UofL information system/network/resource or the threat of the occurrence of such an event.

Incident Investigation

Investigation of misconduct, or non-compliance with a UofL information system/network/resource. Includes noncompliance with law, or with university policies, procedures and events negatively affecting the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of UofL data.

Remediation Services

Support process of identifying and fixing the root causes of vulnerabilities and threats within a computer system or network to eliminate them and prevent future exploitation. Service include containing an incident's impact, eradicating the threat, restoring affected systems, and implementing new preventative measures.
