Outlook: How to Add an Email to Safe Senders
Before You Begin:
- You need access to Outlook or Office 365.
- Make sure you are signed in with your university email account.
- If you are not in Cached mode, you may see an extra prompt.
Objective or Task:
Add an email address to your Safe Senders list in Outlook.
Instructions:
- Open Outlook or Office 365.
- Go to the Home menu.
- Click Junk.
- Select Junk E-mail Options.
- If prompted and you are not in Cached mode, click OK to continue.
- In the Junk E-mail Options window select the Safe Senders tab.


- Click the Add… button.
- Enter the email address you want to add (for example, PrintAnywhere@Louisville.DoNotReply.edu).
- Click OK.
- Click OK again to close the window.


Outcome:
After completing these steps emails from the address you added will be delivered to your inbox and not marked as junk.
