Identify the asset to be transferred and the receiving department.

Objective or Task
Learn how to transfer device ownership and update inventory records.
Instructions
Request Asset Transfer
- Contact Inventory Control or submit a request via Asset Management.
- Provide asset details, department IDs and authorization.
Update Inventory Records
- Ensure the Inventory Coordinator verifies and submits the updated inventory report.
- Only Inventory Control is authorized to make changes in the Asset Management Database.
Outcome
After completing these steps, device ownership will be transferred and inventory records updated.
