Manually Submit GlobalProtect VPN HIP Report

 

Objective or Task:

Manually submit a GlobalProtect VPN client HIP report to the university VPN system.


Instructions:

1. Open the GlobalProtect VPN Client

  1. Go to the Windows system tray.
  2. Click the world globe icon for GlobalProtect VPN.

2. Access VPN Client Settings

  1. Click the three lines in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings.

3. Resubmit the Host Information Profile (HIP) Report

  1. Click the Host Profile tab in the menu bar.
  2. Click the Resubmit Host Profile button.

Outcome:

You will have manually submitted a HIP report which may resolve issues accessing university resources through the VPN.
