OneDrive Overview

Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud-based storage service that allows you to save, protect, and share your files from any device. 

Key Features:

  • Automatic Backup: You can set OneDrive to automatically back up your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders

  • Files On-Demand: View and access all your cloud files directly in Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder without they taking up space on your local hard drive.
    Collaboration: Share files or folders by sending a link, allowing others to view or edit them in real-time

  • Personal Vault: A protected area for your most sensitive files (like IDs or financial docs) that requires extra identity verification to open.
