Do not click links or download attachments from suspicious emails.

Learn how to report junk or spam emails to ITS's security team for investigation and improved filtering.
Instructions
Identify Junk or Spam Email
Look for unsolicited offers, advertisements, irrelevant messages or emails from unknown senders.
Check for misspellings, suspicious links and requests for personal information.
Report Junk Email
If using Outlook, click the “Report Junk” button. This action will remove it from your inbox.
If not, place the email in your Spam or Junk folder.
Additional Steps
Do not respond to the junk email or provide any information.
If you clicked a link or entered information, contact ITS immediately for further guidance.
Outcome
After completing these steps, your report will help ITS improve spam filtering and protect UofL’s email system.
