Purpose
This service supports the operational needs of the Trager Institute’s FlourishCare Internship program and the Optimal Aging Clinic by facilitating Epic user access and providing assistance with Epic-related data and reporting requests.
Overview of Service
The service ensures that students accepted into the FlourishCare Internship program are granted appropriate Epic access and that staff and faculty receive support for data and reporting needs related to both FlourishCare and the Optimal Aging Clinic. It enhances clinical and academic workflows by streamlining access and improving data usability.
Service Details
- Processing Epic access requests for FlourishCare interns
- Assisting with Epic data extraction and reporting
- Coordinating with IT and clinical teams for access provisioning and data needs
- Associated Platforms:
Epic Systems, University Identity Management tools, Reporting Dashboards
- Collaboration:
Works closely with the university’s central IT department, Epic administrators and other UofL Health departments as necessary, and clinical leadership at the Trager Institute Optimal Aging Clinic.
Boundaries and Constraints
Support is limited to Epic access and reporting needs directly related to the FlourishCare Internship program and the Trager Institute Optimal Aging Clinic. Requests outside these areas may be redirected to central IT or other relevant departments.
Eligibility
Eligible users include:
- Faculty and staff affiliated with the Optimal Aging Clinic
- Students officially accepted into the FlourishCare Internship program
