Microsoft Teams offers a secure, cloud-based workspace for real-time messaging, video conferencing, file collaboration, and project management. Key features include:

Boundaries and Constraints

  • Only university-issued accounts may create or manage Teams.
  • External guest access is permitted but must comply with university security policies.
  • Teams is not intended for confidential or highly regulated data unless approved by ITS Security.
  • Personal device support is limited to Teams app installation and basic troubleshooting.
