Intended Audience:
All University of Louisville employees, supervisors, managers and HR staff.

Service Details

  • Core Activities:

    • Update personal and contact information
    • View and manage pay, benefits and tax documents
    • Enter and approve time worked and time off
    • Initiate job changes, promotions and transfers
    • Access performance reviews and development plans
    • Complete onboarding and offboarding tasks
  • Associated Platforms:
    Workday (web and mobile), ULink portal.

  • Performance Metrics:

    • System uptime and availability
    • User adoption and satisfaction
    • Timeliness of HR transactions
  • Collaboration:
    Managed by the HR and ITS teams, with support from departmental leads and supervisors.

Boundaries and Constraints

  • Access is limited to active University of Louisville employees and authorized affiliates.
  • Some HR actions (e.g., job changes, compensation adjustments) require manager or HR approval.
  • Data entry and changes are subject to university policies and compliance requirements.
  • Scheduled maintenance may temporarily limit access.

Eligibility

All full-time, part-time, and eligible temporary employees of the University of Louisville have access to Workday HR. Access is provisioned upon hire and deactivated upon separation.

  • Contact the ITS HelpDesk: For login or technical issues, call (502) 852-7997.
  • Submit a Ticket: For HR support or system issues.
  • Departmental Support: Contact your supervisor or Workday functional lead for unit-specific questions.
  • HR Inquiries: Email Human Resources at hr@louisville.edu or visit the HR office at Belknap/HSC campus.
