ITS Classroom Support: How to Request Technology Assistance
Before You Begin:
- Make sure you know your classroom’s building and room number.
- Check for posted support contact information inside the classroom.
- Have your UofL ID ready if you need to verify your identity.
Objective or Task:
Request technology support for classroom equipment or systems at the University of Louisville.
Instructions:
- Locate your classroom’s building and room number.
- Find the posted support contact information inside the classroom.
- If your classroom is supported by ITS call ITS Classroom Support at 502-852-6465.
a. For immediate needs (portable projector, desktop, DVD player, etc.) call the same number.
b. If your classroom is not listed or you are unsure contact ITS Classroom Support for guidance.
- If your classroom is supported by another department use the contact information provided (e.g., Speed IT: 502-852-7620, SON IT: 502-852-9304).
- For technology design consultation or assessment request assistance from the instructional technology support team via the ITS contact page.
- Visit iTechConnect 1:1 at the lower level MITC on Belknap Campus for walk-in help (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.).
- If a support fee applies (for non-ITS supported rooms) confirm details with the support team before requesting service.
Outcome:
You will receive prompt assistance for classroom technology issues, including troubleshooting, equipment setup or consultation. If your classroom is not directly supported by ITS, you will be directed to the correct department or informed of any applicable fees.
