Objective or Task
Describe what a UofL account is and how it is used to access key university services.
Before You Begin
- Required access or permissions: You must be an active faculty, staff or student to receive a UofL account.
- Necessary accounts or credentials: Your UofL userID and password.
- Preparatory steps: Have your personal contact information available for account setup and recovery.
Instructions
- Review your account eligibility.
- Locate your UofL userID from university onboarding or IT communications.
- Sign in to Office365 Outlook using your UofL userID and password to access email.
- Sign in to ULink using your UofL userID and password to access campus services.
- Protect your credentials by creating a strong password and enabling any recommended multi-factor authentication.
- If you need a sponsored or service account, open Requesting Accounts for instructions and required approvals.
- For systems that require registration, register those services using your UofL userID and password as your authentication method.
Outcome
After completing these steps you will know what a UofL account provides and how to use your UofL userID and password to sign in to Office 365 email and the ULink portal.
