Objective or Task
Update or view emergency contact information in your Workday profile.
Instructions
Update Emergency Contacts
- Open Workday.
- Enter Change My Emergency Contacts in the search bar.
- Select the Change My Emergency Contacts task.
- Select the Primary Emergency Contact section.
- Enter or update the contact’s Legal Name.
- Select the Relationship.
- Add at least one Method of Contact.
- Select whether the contact method is Home or Work.
- Select the Phone Device type if adding a phone number.
- Select Add under Alternate Emergency Contacts to add another contact if needed.
- Enter the alternate contact’s First Name.
- Enter the alternate contact’s Last Name.
- Set the Priority number for the contact.
- Enter the contact Relationship.
- Add at least one Method of Contact.
- Review all updates.
- Select Submit to save your changes.
View Emergency Contacts
- Open Workday.
- Select your Profile icon.
- Select View Profile.
- Select Contact from the left menu.
- Select Emergency Contacts to view your saved information.
Outcome
Your emergency contact information is updated and available in Workday, ensuring accurate contact details are on file in case of an emergency.
