Adding Approvers for Ad Hoc Compensation Changes

Objective or Task

Add one or more additional approvers to a compensation change request before it continues through the approval workflow.


Before You Begin

  • You have access to Workday.
  • You are a reviewer or approver for a Compensation Change request.
  • You know which additional approver(s) must review the request based on unit or department policy.

Instructions

Locate the Compensation Change Request

  1. From the Workday landing page, open your Workday Inbox.
  2. Locate the Compensation Change request that requires additional approval.

Add Additional Approvers

  1. Open the Compensation Change request and review the details.
  2. Do not select Approve at this time.
  3. Select Add Approvers.
  4. Enter the name(s) of the Additional Approvers.
  5. Enter a Comment if needed to explain why additional approval is required.
  6. Select Approve and Send to Approvers.

Outcome

The compensation change request is sent to the additional approver(s) you specified and continues through the approval workflow after their review.
