Objective or Task

Navigate the Recruiter Hub in Workday to access recruiting tasks, job requisitions, candidates and dashboards.


Before You Begin

  • You have access to Workday as a Primary Recruiter.
  • Your role includes reviewing candidates or managing job requisitions.

Instructions

Access the Recruiter Hub

  1. From the Workday landing page, locate the Recruiter Hub Bar on the left side of the screen.
  2. Select the arrow at the bottom of the bar to expand additional options if needed.

Use the Shortcuts Tab

  1. Select the Shortcuts tab to view frequently used tasks and reports.
  2. Select the Gear icon next to Shortcuts to customize which items appear.

Navigate the Recruiting Tab

  1. Select the Recruiting tab in the Recruiter Hub.

  2. Review recruiting tasks using Workday cards such as My Inbox Tasks, New Internal Candidates, Interview Tasks, and Background Check Tasks.

  3. Customize the Recruiting cards layout.

    1. Select the ellipses button on a card to move or remove it.
    2. Select Add to include additional cards.

View Job Requisitions

  1. Select the Job Requisitions tab.
  2. Use filters to view all job requisitions or requisitions by hiring manager.
  3. Review candidate counts and job status indicators such as Open, Frozen, or Posted.
  4. Select a job requisition to open the detailed view in a new tab.

Manage Candidates

  1. Select the Candidates tab.
  2. Review applications in table view.
  3. Download candidate resumes as needed.
  4. Select stage counts to view candidates at specific recruiting stages.
  5. Take individual or mass actions such as Move Forward, Decline, or Send Message.

Use the Recruiting Dashboard

  1. Select the Dashboard tab.
  2. Review recruiting information including Job Requisition Management, Search Committees, and Underutilization Audit.
  3. Select the Gear icon to configure which worklets appear on the dashboard.

You can efficiently navigate the Recruiter Hub to monitor recruiting activity, manage candidates and track job requisitions throughout the hiring process.
