Objective or Task:
Understand and manage unpaid leaves of absence and time off in Workday.
Instructions:
- Submit an unpaid Leave of Absence request in Workday.
- Wait for the leave of absence request to be approved.
- Review the Absence Calendar for the approved leave.
- Open the Inbox task generated for the Timekeeper.
- Enter time off on behalf of the employee for eligible dates.
- Include holidays as applicable.
- Submit the time off request for approval.
Outcome:
The employee remains unpaid for leave days without approved time off and is paid through approved time off for eligible days during the unpaid leave of absence.
