Cellular Phones: How to Access University Discounts

 

Before You Begin

  • Confirm your UofL affiliation (faculty, staff or student).
  • Have your UofL ID or credentials ready.
  • Review available carrier options and contract details.

Objective or Task

Access and apply for cellular phone discounts through University of Louisville’s approved providers.


Instructions

  1. Review Cellular Phone Discount Options

  2. Select a Carrier

    • Choose from major providers listed (AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless or T-Mobile/Sprint).
    • Click the carrier link for specific discount information.
  3. Apply for Discount

    • Follow the instructions provided by your chosen carrier.
    • Enter your UofL credentials or proof of affiliation as required.
  4. Contact Carrier for Activation

    • Reach out to the carrier’s representative or use the online portal to activate your discounted plan.
    • Provide any additional documentation requested.
  5. Confirm Discount Activation

    • Check your account or bill to ensure the university discount is applied.

Outcome

After completing these steps you will have access to discounted cellular phone service through a major provider, saving money on your monthly plan as a UofL affiliate.
