Complete required Day One actions in Workday to ensure your employee information is accurate.


Instructions

Access Workday

  1. Log in to Workday using your UofL single sign-on credentials.

Add Emergency Contacts

  1. Enter Change My Emergency Contacts in the Workday search bar.
  2. Add your emergency contact information.

Review Personal Information

  1. Open your Worker Profile in Workday.
  2. Select Personal Information from the left menu.
  3. Review your personal details for accuracy.

Review Contact Information

  1. Open your Worker Profile in Workday.
  2. Select Contact from the left menu.
  3. Review your home and work contact information.

Review Withholding Elections

  1. Open your Worker Profile in Workday.
  2. Select Pay from the left menu.
  3. Select Tax Elections.
  4. Review your withholding information.

Review Time Off Balances

  1. Select the person icon on the Workday landing page.
  2. Select View Profile.
  3. Select Absence or Time Off from the left menu.
  4. Review your time off balances.

Request Time Off Entered Before Workday

  1. Enter Request Absence in the Workday search bar.
  2. Select the dates for your time off.
  3. Complete the time off request details.

Add Education Information (Staff Only)

  1. Open your Workday Inbox.
  2. Open the Go‑live Education Update task.
  3. Enter your education information.

Enter Work Space Information

  1. Enter Change My Work Space in the Workday search bar.
  2. Enter your building and room number.

Outcome

Your Day One checklist is completed, and your personal, contact, and payroll-related information in Workday is accurate and ready for ongoing use.
