Azure Dev Tools: How to Download Windows for Students

Before You Begin

  • Be an actively enrolled student.
  • Have your UofL login credentials available.
  • Sign in using your university Microsoft account.
  • Understand that access is available only while you are attending the university.

Instructions

  1. Open a web browser.

  2. Go to https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools

  3. Sign in using your university Microsoft account.

  4. Click Get started.

  5. Select Download software.

  6. Locate Windows or another available Microsoft product.

  7. Select the version you need.

  8. Follow the on‑screen instructions to download the software and product key.
