Renew your service or sponsored account using Identity Access Management portal to maintain access. Service accounts require renewal every 12 months, and sponsored accounts every 180 days. Only the owners and managers of these accounts can complete this process using their personal University account.

Request Blackboard access for sponsored users who are not university students or employees. Only the account owner (the university employee managing the sponsored user) can request Blackboard access through the Identity Access Management portal.

Request a sponsored account for individuals who are not university employees but need access for academic or business purposes. Sponsored accounts are for visiting academics, temporary instructors or third parties working with university departments. Only authorized staff can request these accounts through the self-service portal.
