UL2FCTR/Duo: How to Manage Your UL2FCTR/Duo Devices

Summary

You can use the Identity and Access Management portal to manage your UL2FCTR/Duo devices. Use these instructions to add a device to use for UL2FCTR/Duo or to remove a device from your profile.

Before You Begin

  • Make sure you have your UofL login credentials handy.
  • Prepare a smartphone, tablet or phone for Duo authentication.
  • Update your operating system and browser to the latest version.
  • Reminder:  You must have completed the account claim process before you can manage your UL2FCTR/Duo devices.

 

Instructions

Add a New Device

  1. Go to Password and Account Management.
  2. Enter your UofL login credentials.
  3. Click SIGN IN.
  4. Click the MY SECURITY tab.
  5. Click ADD A DEVICE.
  6. Complete the Duo device registration by entering the appropriate information.
    • Select the type of device you want to add (e.g., mobile phone, tablet, or Yubikey)
    • Enter the name of your device (e.g., “My iPhone”)
    • Enter your phone number.
  7. Click CONFIRM.
  8. Click SUBMIT.
  9. Choose a verification method:
    • Download the free Duo Mobile app from your preferred app store.
    • Send a secure link to your phone.

 

Remove a Device

  1. Go to Password and Account Management.
  2. Enter your UofL login credentials.
  3. Click SIGN IN.
  4. Click the MY SECURITY tab.
  5. Find the device you want to remove, and CLICK the three vertical dots.
  6. Select REMOVE.
