This how-to article helps UofL employees and supervisors access WorkdayHR training materials. These resources support onboarding, time entry, benefits management and other HR tasks. You must have an active UofL account to access most training modules.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have a valid UofL user account and login credentials.
  • Some training modules may require access to Blackboard or SharePoint.
  • Confirm your security role if accessing role-specific training.

Objective or Task

Learn how to locate and use WorkdayHR training resources, including videos, quick reference guides and checklists for common HR tasks.

Instructions

  1. Access the Training Portal
    Go to the UofL Workday Training Resources page.

  2. Browse Available Topics
    Review categories such as:

    • Day One Checklist
    • Time Entry
    • Benefits
    • Profile Updates
    • Approvals and Delegation
  3. Open Training Materials
    Click on a topic to view available resources.
    a. Some items link to Blackboard for interactive modules.
    b. Others provide downloadable PDFs or step-by-step guides.

  4. Search for Specific Tasks
    Use the search bar to find instructions for tasks like updating contact info, entering time or changing benefits.

  5. Download Reference Guides
    Save or print quick reference guides for future use.
