Log In to Workday

  1. Log in to Workday using your UofL single sign‑on credentials.

Run the Extract Supervisory Organizations Report

  1. Enter Extract Supervisory Organizations in the Workday search bar.
  2. Open the report.
  3. Enter your unit code or department name.
  4. Select all applicable supervisory organizations.
  5. Review the Organization Name.
  6. Review the Manager.
  7. Review default organization assignments.
  8. Review the Superior Organization.
  9. Identify any inaccurate information.

Review Jobs by Supervisory Organization

  1. Enter RPT051 All Jobs by Supervisory Organization in the Workday search bar.
  2. Open the report.
  3. Select the appropriate supervisory organization.
  4. Review job details.
  5. Review position details.
  6. Review FTE values.
  7. Review compensation information.

Review Business Titles

  1. Review business titles listed in RPT051.
  2. Identify incorrect or unclear business titles.
  3. Update business titles using the appropriate Workday process if needed.

Review Position Costing Allocation Overrides

  1. Enter RPT027 All Position Costing Allocation Overrides in the Workday search bar.
  2. Open the report.
  3. Select a supervisory organization or specific position.
  4. Review costing allocation details.
  5. Identify incorrect costing overrides.

Review Supervisory Organization Roles

  1. Enter the name of the Supervisory Organization or manager in the Workday search bar.
  2. Select the supervisory organization from the results.
  3. Open the Roles tab.
  4. Review Assigned roles.
  5. Review Inherited roles.
  6. Confirm the correct individuals can initiate and manage HR actions.

Review Key Reports by Role

  1. Review reports available for HR Initiator and HR Partner roles.
