Enter, submit, or correct time off using your Workday time sheet.
Instructions
Enter Time Off via a Time Sheet
- Open Workday.
- Enter Enter My Time in the search bar and select the report.
- Select the day on the time sheet for the time off.
- Change the Time Type to the appropriate absence type.
- Enter the number of Hours for the time off.
- Enter the reason for the request in Comments.
- Select OK to save the time off entry.
Submit Time Off via a Time Sheet
- Open Workday.
- Enter Enter My Time in the search bar and select the report.
- Review the time off entries that have not been submitted for the week.
- Select Review to view weekly totals.
- Select Submit to route the time off request to your manager.
Correct Time Off via a Time Sheet
- Open Workday.
- Enter Enter My Time in the search bar and select the report.
- Navigate to the week containing the time off to be corrected.
- Select the time off block you want to change.
- Edit the details or delete the entry as needed.
- Select OK to save changes.
- Select Review.
- Select Submit to send the updated request for approval.
Enter a Floating Holiday via a Time Sheet
- Confirm approval with your manager before taking floating holiday hours.
- Create a new time block on your time sheet.
- Change the Time Type to Floating Holiday.
- Enter the number of hours floated.
- Specify the holiday worked in Time Off Reason.
- Select OK.
- Select Review.
- Select Submit.

Your time off is accurately entered, submitted, or corrected in Workday and routed to your manager for approval, ensuring proper payroll and leave tracking.
