Change your Health Savings Account contribution elections in Workday.
Before You Begin
- You are enrolled in the CDHP with HSA medical plan.
- You have access to Workday.
- You understand that retroactive dates are not supported and changes must use a current or future date.
Instructions
Start the Benefit Change
- Enter Change Benefits in the Workday search bar and select the task.
- Select Enroll/Change/Waive HSA as the Change Reason.
- Enter the Date for the benefit change.
- Select Submit to continue.
Change HSA Benefit Elections
- Open your Workday Inbox.
- Select the Change Benefit Elections task.
- Select Let’s Get Started.
- From the Change Benefits page, select Manage or Enroll on the HSA benefit card.
- Select Select to enroll or Waive to waive HSA coverage.
- Select Confirm and then Continue.
Enter Contribution Amounts
- Enter the Per Paycheck or Annual contribution amount.
- Review how prior year‑to‑date contributions adjust the remaining pay periods if changing mid‑year.
- Select Save.
Review and Submit
- Select Review and Sign.
- Review the benefit selection.
- Review the legal notice and select I Accept.
- Select Submit to confirm the change.
View Confirmation
- Select View Benefits Statement to review or print your confirmation.
Outcome
Your HSA benefit change is approved, and the updated contribution election is reflected on your next applicable paycheck based on the payroll schedule.
