Request time off using the Absence Calendar in Workday.

Instructions:

  1. Enter Request Absence in the Workday search bar.
  2. Select Request Absence from the results.
  3. Select dates on the Absence Calendar or use Select Date Range.
  4. Select Next.
  5. Review the From date.
  6. Review the To date.
  7. Review the Type of absence.
  8. Review the Quantity per Day.
  9. Select Edit Quantity per Day.
  10. Enter the number of hours for each day.
  11. Enter Comments if needed.
  12. Select Done.
  13. Attach documentation if required.
  14. Select Submit.

Outcome:

Your time off request is submitted in Workday and routed to your manager for approval.
