Basic information about the Shared Leave Policy

The University of Louisville has created a great provision for its employees in need of catastrophic leave coverage. The leave comes from a shared leave pool donated by your fellow UofL Colleagues.

 

In order to receive leave, you must fill out the request form and have it approved by the timekeeper for your department (or UBM). If you are unsure of who your timekeeper is, you can email HRServices@louisville.edu or your supervisor to identify the appropriate individual. Once it has been completed and approved, it will need to be processed by Human Resources.  


You can locate the Leave Donation Request form on Central HR's website: HERE or by going to louisville.edu/hr/forms. It is located under the Shared Leave category.
