Student Email Term Limits

This article describes email term limits for students. This article includes information on when email accounts for students are closed based on enrollment date.

How long can admitted students keep their email accounts?

Admitted students keep their email accounts through the summer terms, even if they are not enrolled in summer classes.

How are account closures (student closures) processed?

Closing accounts (student closures) are automated through the Password and Account Management system.

Accounts are closed 2 years after last enrollment.

1.      If within that time period you are marked as a "Recent Student", your email stays open.
2.      If past that time period and you have no relationship with the University, your account and your email is closed.
