iRIS: How to Access and Get Support

Before You Begin

  • Confirm you are a researcher or staff member who requires iRIS access.
  • Ensure you have your University of Louisville credentials available.

Instructions

Access iRIS

  1. Open a web browser.

  2. Go to the Research Gateway page: https://louisville.edu/research/researchers/research-gateway

  3. Locate the third drop‑down menu on the page.

  4. Select the iRIS login option from the drop‑down menu.

  5. Review the additional user guidance linked near the bottom of the page if needed.


Request iRIS Assistance

  1. Identify the issue or question related to iRIS.

  2. Send an email describing the issue to researchsystems@louisville.edu.

  3. Include relevant details such as your name, user ID, and a description of the problem.


iRIS Points of Contact

  1. Direct all iRIS support requests to the Research Systems team.

  2. Note that Katy Vitale serves as the primary point of contact for iRIS.

  3. Additional contacts may be included by the Research Systems team as needed.
