Before You Begin

Ensure you have a valid UofL user account and request access to CardBox.
Identify your department’s storage and collaboration needs.

Learn how to request, access and use CardBox departmental folders for secure file storage and sharing.

Instructions

Request CardBox Access

  • Go to the Identity Management Portal and request CardBox access.
  • Follow the steps to set up your account and receive confirmation.

Create and Manage Departmental Folders

  • Log in to CardBox and create folders for your department or project.
  • Invite collaborators by entering their email addresses.

Upload, Share, and Edit Files

  • Use the CardBox dashboard to upload files and folders.
  • Share files with team members or external collaborators via secure links.

Sync and Backup Files

  • Use CardBox desktop and mobile apps to sync files and enable automatic backups.

Outcome

After completing these steps, your department will have secure, unlimited cloud storage and collaboration via CardBox.
