AV Integration Services: How to Request and Use AV Technology at UofL

Summary

UofL’s ITS AV & Classroom Support team provides technical assistance for classroom technology including projectors, microphones, control panels and other instructional tools. Support is available for general classrooms, lecture halls and specialized teaching spaces across campus.

Before You Begin

  • If you need assistance for the Student Activity Center (SAC) please contact Student Activities Center AV Services.
  • If you are in immediate need of portable classroom technology (digital projector, desktop, DVD player, etc.) or without appropriate support for multi-media/integrated technology systems.
    • Please call ITS Classroom Support 502-852-6465.
  • Ensure you have approval for AV upgrades or installations.
  • Identify your room, technology needs and event requirements.

 

Instructions

Request AV Integration

  • Open a Service Request for Room AV Integration Services.
  • Provide details about your room, technology needs and timeline.
  • Please give as much lead time as possible.

 

Coordinate Installation

  • ITS will review your request and schedule installation or upgrades.
  • Collaborate on equipment selection and room setup.

 

Use AV Technology

  • Receive training or documentation for installed equipment.
  • For support, contact ITS or on-site AV technicians.
