Siteimprove is UofL’s enterprise platform for monitoring, evaluating and improving digital accessibility across university websites. It helps identify issues, track progress and ensure compliance with WCAG and ADA standards.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have valid UofL credentials and access to your department’s website.
  • Content Leads and Technology Leads can request user access by completing the DxP User Request form.
  • Review UofL web governance and accessibility policies.

 

Instructions

Access Siteimprove

Run Accessibility Checks

  • Use the dashboard to scan your website for accessibility issues.
  • Review automated reports for WCAG, ADA and Section 508 compliance.

Review and Remediate Issues

  • Prioritize issues flagged by Siteimprove, such as missing alt text, poor color contrast or broken links.
  • Use Siteimprove’s guidance and contextual learning tools to resolve issues.
  • Track progress and improvements over time.

Request Training and Support

  • Attend Siteimprove training sessions or access online tutorials for advanced features.
  • Contact ITS or Siteimprove support for technical help.
