Security awareness training helps UofL faculty, staff and students recognize cyber threats, follow university policies and protect university data. The ITS Enterprise Security team offers training sessions, phishing simulations and online resources to build a culture of security.

Before You Begin
Ensure you have a valid UofL login credentials .
Review UofL Information Security Policies and Procedures for training requirements.
Check your email for training notifications or invitations from ITS Enterprise Security.
Instructions
Participate in Security Awareness Training
- Complete assigned training modules sent via email or provided by ITS Enterprise Security or Information Security Office.
- Attend scheduled workshops, webinars or in-person sessions as required.
- Review training topics such as phishing, insider threats, secure web browsing and university security policies.
Practice Identifying Phishing and Scams
- Participate in phishing simulation campaigns to improve your ability to spot suspicious emails.
- Use online quizzes and resources to test your knowledge.
Access Additional Training Resources
- Explore LinkedIn Learning courses on cybersecurity, social engineering and securing your personal data.
- Review presentations and guides provided by ITS Enterprise Security.
Report Training Completion and Issues
- If you receive a training notification email, follow instructions to complete the required module.
- Report any issues with training access or content to secureit@louisville.edu or the ITS HelpDesk.
